CyBi®-SELMA

96/384 Channel Pipettors
Semi-automatic 96-fold pipettor with minimal required space CyBi®-SELMA is a bench-top semi-automatic pipetting robot which is fast, precise and robust. With 96 disposable tips, all 96 and 384-well microplate formats can be filled in seconds. All pipetting movements are performed by highly precise and reliable motors which always guarantee excellent and constant results.

CyBi®-SELMA is amazingly easy to use via a modern touch screen. Automatic tip tightening avoids laborious adjustments and preloaded tip racks guarantee rapid execution within seconds. Custom-racked tip magazines enable the omission of individual columns and thus, give the user more options to create dispense patterns specific to their assay requirements. All manual operating tasks such as tip change and plate change are shown on the display. Hence nothing gets in the way of precise liquid handling.

Microplates of varying heights and well dimensions can be handled by CyBi®-SELMA as the pipetting head position can be adjusted via a simple dial. Optimal immersion depth of the tips can be adjusted in the same way. Any adjustments such as dispense height, volume and pipetting speed are memorized, retrievable and changeable for regular use anytime.

CyBi®-Well

96- and 384- Channel Simultaneous Pipettor The CyBi®-Well fixed head, disposable tip pipettor can be configured with for 96 or 384 channels and for volume ranges from 200 nL to 250 µL. The pipettor is ideal for HTS or research environments. In only 20 seconds, it pipettes and transports a 384-well microplate; in 30 seconds and in just four steps, it process 1536-well microplates. Procedures can be quickly and easily programmed with the CyBio® Composer software. The system consists either of a 4- or 5-position plate carriage respectively of a circularly 10 position transport system with space for processed plates and other accessories such as tip washing stations or reagent reservoirs.

8-Channel Pipettors:

CyBi®-8plus1

Workstation for the Automation of PCR Set-Ups and Serial Dilutions

The CyBi®-8plus1 provides in addition to the 8 channels for serial dilution application a single channel which can achieve and execute all wells of a microplate and single tubes. This ensures that a wide variety of applications such as reaction set-up, Hit picking, serial dilution and many other applications can now be automated easily. The 8-channel and the single channel are available anytime and this means that no longer you will have to deal with the annoying exchange of pipetting tools.

The system offers a choice of various tip types with volume sizes of 5, 50 and 250 µL for optimal results, once again without the necessity to change the tool in between.

Furthermore, the CyBi®-8plus1 shows that it is possible to handle several working positions on smallest footprint. Beside the proven linear transport system, it has an additional position for the placing of microplates, tips and reservoirs. This allows the parallel processing of tip changing and stacking of microplates. For broader applications, this second position may be extended even to a second linear transport system with a further 5 positions without enlarging the footprint of the device.

The tip waste position of the CyBi®-8plus1 allows contamination-free working by physically separated picking up and dropping of the tips.

The easy-to-use software CyBio® Composer includes a clever database, without the need of teaching different types of microplates.

CyBi®-RoboSpense

Versatile liquid handling platform for unique individual automation solutions The CyBi®-RoboSpense is a flexible and versatile liquid handling platform with four or eight individually addressable liquid channels. Automatic adjustment of channel spacing accommodates various tube sizes, channel-specific liquid detection and the use of either disposable tips or washable steel needles make the CyBi®-RoboSpense a highly versatile tool for automating almost any pipetting task. An optional second arm with a robotic microplate handler enables interfacing to other functional units such as heating and cooling devices, shakers, barcode readers, microplate readers, incubators and parallel pipettors and expands the system's capabilities to the level of functionality you need.
